The Opportunity:

  • Full-Time | Ongoing contract of employment.
  • PW5 $74,742 - $80,407 per annum pro rata + 12% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience).
  • Moorabbin Campus – onsite parking with close proximity to public transport.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Faculty Placement & Partnership Placement Officer to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and coordinating student clinical placements across the department to ensure alignment with curriculum requirements and industry standards. You will assist with the coordination of clinical facilitators and work closely with healthcare and community service organisations to secure high-quality placement opportunities. A key part of the role involves managing compliance requirements, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the delivery of meaningful student learning experiences that uphold Holmesglen’s reputation for excellence in health and community education.

As a Faculty Placement and Partnership Placement Officer, you will:

  • Coordinate and secure clinical placements for students, ensuring agreements and compliance requirements are met.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with healthcare and community organisations.
  • Conduct risk assessments on placement venues and monitor student compliance, including immunisations, Police Checks, and Working with Children Checks.
  • Support and coordinate Clinical Placement Facilitators, including recruitment, orientation, and evaluation.
  • Maintain accurate student placement records and contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Broad clinical knowledge of the nursing profession and understanding of placement requirements.
  • Experience coordinating clinical placements, supporting students, and building industry partnerships.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
  • High proficiency in MS Office and database systems, with strong record-keeping and compliance focus.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in nursing or a suitable combination of lesser qualifications and relevant experience.
  • WWCC and Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
