The Site Engineer is primarily responsible for planning and managing project operations from initial engagement through to project completion. The Site Engineer is required to efficiently manage project critical deadlines, monitor and supervise performance and oversee management of the required resources. The Site Engineer is also required to evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports and adhere to timeframes as necessary, to ensure project deliverables are met. The Site Engineer will appropriately manage any issues or risks which may arise throughout the course of a project. All responsibilities are to be conducted with the utmost precision, attention to detail and in accordance with all company policies, procedures and safety regulations as applicable.

PCP Solutions is a leading civil earthworks and commercial plumbing business based in Toowoomba with projects across South East Queensland. With over 70 staff, PCP Solutions specialises in large infrastructure works for tier 1 companies whilst maintaining a family focused culture.

Key Responsibilities:

· Carry out site inspections;

· Prepare and complete Inspection Test Plans;

· Lodging reports to Principal Contractor;

· Work front reporting;

· Assistance with project program and reporting;

· Project administration assistance to Project Manager, Quality and Safety personnel;

· Supplier material conformance and adherence to project specifications;

· Maintain project quality controls and the effective ongoing management of any potential workplace health and safety risks as well as any environmental risks;

· Ensure project efficiency in accordance with business operations strategy and improve and/or implement additional project operations processes, where necessary;

· Oversee records management processes and document quality control – ensuring staff are utilising correct procedures for filing systems and records management;

· Provide regular updates to Project Manager as to project progress;

· Comply with the company’s Integrated Management System (IMS).

Skills and Qualifications:

· Have excellent communication and problem solving skills to be able to communicate professionally with clients, suppliers and project foreman

· Have excellent time management skills and be able to work autonomously and as part of a team

· Ability to manage a team, perform works in an effective manner and undertake adequate conflict management as required.

· Possess a high attention to detail.

· Applicants must possess a degree in Engineering, a current drivers licence and construction white card.

· Minimum of 5 years experience as an Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industry
