About your Role

As a Senior Consultant within our Managed Services team, you will lead the delivery of strategic IT projects for both new and existing clients. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, leveraging your technical expertise and consultative approach to design, implement, and optimize solutions that align with client business goals. This role requires a strong blend of technical capability, project delivery experience, and client engagement skills.

Your Day to Day

Within this role, allocated tasks will vary with specific clients; including, but not limited to:  Lead the day-to-day completion of allocated project tasks.

 Work closely with the Sales and Marketing and Client Success teams for new ventures including qualification of projects.

 Be the first point of contact for technical advice and support to multiple users during the roll out and completion of projects.

 Identify any issues during the project roll out and completion and provide resolution recommendations to the Project Stakeholders.

 Support Professional Services consultants and act as an escalation point for project related activity.

 Work with other Managed Services team members to achieve client business focussed technology outcomes.

 Assist in the customisation and adaptation of existing programs to meet client’s requirements and expectations.

 Provide telephone, face-to-face and online support to clients during the project lifecycle.

 Maintain and enhance existing client relationships by providing consistent and responsive support and a professional level of service.

 Maintain regular verbal reporting and feedback to the Head of Managed Services regarding all aspects of their work and areas of responsibility.

 Actively engage and role model collaborative work practices within team and with other teams

 Provide advice and support to Centrered personnel as required.

Your Technical Skills

You will have or will work towards these (as seen in the Consultant Position Description PS100)

 2 X Intermediate level Microsoft Certifications

 5+ years of experience in IT consulting or project delivery within an MSP or similar environment.

 Strong technical background in services like Azure, Networking, M365, Backup and DR

 Experience with infrastructure/cloud migrations, systems integrations and automation

 Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities

 Ability to translate technical concepts into business value for clients

 Experience in pre-sales support, scoping, and solution design

 Workshop and Presentation skills

In addition, you will work towards:

 2 x Expert Level Microsoft Certifications

 Project Management Certification

Administrative Tasks

 Ensure accurate timesheet, billing, and configuration records are maintained in the ConnectWise Platform.

 Ensure at least 85% of pre-sales or billable activity is entered into your timesheet each day.

 Manage project plans and resources, ensuring tasks are resourced & completed in appropriate timeframes.

 Complete reviews of documents prior to release to customers.

 Contribute to the Centrered “knowledge base”, including the creation of solution documentation.

 Prepare and engage in workshops and presentations as required.
