About the role

Join the close-knit team at Applecross Pre Kindy as a full-time Senior Educator. In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to young children, working to support their social, emotional, and cognitive development. As an Educator, you will be an integral part of the centre's mission to create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for our students.

What you'll be doing

Deliver engaging, age-appropriate educational activities that align with the Early Years Learning Framework

Observe children's progress, identifying and addressing any developmental needs

Provide a warm, supportive, and inclusive environment that encourages children's curiosity and learning

Maintain a safe and hygienic physical space, ensuring all children's needs are met

Communicate regularly with parents and guardians, building strong partnerships

Work collaboratively with the centre's leadership team to continuously improve the quality of care

What we're looking for

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field

Minimum 4 years' experience working as an Educator in a childcare or pre-kindy setting

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children and families

Demonstrated understanding of child development and the ability to tailor your approach to individual needs

Passion for making a positive difference in the lives of young children

Current First Aid certificate and working with children check
