As Research Integrity Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the University’s research governance framework.

This position is central to ensuring research is conducted ethically and in line with national standards, while also driving education and compliance initiatives across the institution.

In this role you will:

  • Provide high-level administrative support for research integrity matters, including managing reported concerns, preliminary assessments, and investigations.
  • Coordinate and support panels and senior academics in the assessment of potential research breaches, including gathering evidence and preparing documentation.
  • Contribute to the development of quality improvement strategies and compliance reporting.

This continuing position is full time and will be located at the Callaghan Campus (Awabakal land).

How will you inspire us?

You will have:

  • Demonstrated administrative experience with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of diverse stakeholders.
  • Advanced written communication skills, including the ability to draft formal documents, assessment reports, and correspondence for senior stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and time management capabilities, with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and other digital tools to support document preparation, data collation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters with discretion.

The remuneration for this position is from $93,929 to $103,641 + 17% superannuation and is commensurate with skills and experience.

  4. Demonstrated experience in the capture, interpretation and consolidation of information into reports for distribution to stakeholders at all levels.
  5. Knowledge of, and commitment to workplace policies and procedures in the areas of work health safety, equity, diversity and promoting a respectful workplace culture.
