About the project
This undertaking is a multi-year program delivering its new case management capabilities. The program will replace a range of legacy business applications with a new platform (D365 Customer Service) and is currently in delivery phase. They are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Dynamics Architect to support this program. Working with a multi-disciplinary team, the Dynamics Architect will provide technical leadership by ensuring the design of D365 solutions is in line with the overall architecture vision and development model. This can include advice and implementation of system architecture and integration activities. Reporting to the Program Director, the Dynamics Architect will have demonstrated experience of working with multi-disciplinary product teams in the design and development of MS D365 and Power Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• You will be involved in architecture and programming C# for Dynamics 365 development, particularly for plugins, custom workflows, and web resources and JavaScript for client-side scripting in forms and web resources.
• You wil customise of entities, forms, views, charts, and dashboards.
• Configuration of business rules, workflows, business process flows, and actions.
• Integration of Dynamics with other systems using APIs, web services, or third- party tools like Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow), or custom integrations.
• Usage of Power BI for reporting and data visualization from Dynamics 365.
• Usage of SQL Server for database operations, queries, and data management in relation to Dynamics 365.
• Deployment strategies, environments management, and version control using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub, or Visual Studio Online.
• Management of security roles, field security profiles, and understanding of Dynamics 365 security model.

Key Skills Required

• You will have knowledge of the Dynamics 365 architecture, including Common Data Service (CDS) or Dataverse.
• Experienced in Programming C# for Dynamics 365 development, particularly for plugins, custom workflows, and web resources and JavaScript for client-side scripting in forms and web resources
• Deep understanding of Dynamics 365 modules (like Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Operations, etc.) depending on the specialization.
• Experienced in customizing entities, forms, views, charts, and dashboards. Experienced in configuring business rules, workflows, business process flows, and actions
• Skills in integrating Dynamics with other systems using APIs, web services, or third- party tools like Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow), or custom integrations
• Proficiency in PowerApps for extending Dynamics 365 capabilities.
• Using Power BI for reporting and data visualization from Dynamics 365.
