The position also manages the relationships with the contracted out of hours student crisis line and an overseas student counselling provider.

The position works closely with the other Managers within the Student Health and Wellbeing portfolio, as well as the Student Incident and Support Team, and plays an important role in the Safer Communities Team.
The position responds out of normal business hours as required by the Director, Student Life, or the Senior Manager, Student Health and Wellbeing.

  • Knowledge of and skills for working with cross-cultural and equity issues;
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in working with other support agencies; current knowledge and commitment to legislative obligations for Equal Opportunity, Disability Service, Occupational Safety and Health and how these impact on service delivery.

You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Personal Excellence and Courage.
