ABOUT THE ROLE:
As an Occupational Therapist at Alliedcare, you will work with a diverse range of clients from various cultures, abilities, and backgrounds. Our mission is to get people moving, provide goal driven services and create progress.
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Alliedcare Australia on a contract basis, working with our existing NDIS clients throughout The North of Melbourne.
What you'll be doing
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs
Develop and implement personalised progressive plans to help clients achieve their goals
Collaborate with our existing Allied Health and Support teams to ensure a holistic approach to client care
Contribute to continuous service improvements.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Minimum 2 years' experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a rehabilitation or community-based setting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and their families
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Commitment to providing high-quality, client-centred care
