We’re currently seeking a Trade Qualified Spray Painter to join an exciting tram project with Alstom.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Line Manager, you will be part of an exciting project and team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare surfaces for painting through scraping, sanding, or other methods.

· Mix and match paint and finishes to achieve desired colours and textures.

· To paint according to specification and finish requirements.

· Ensure a clean and safe working environment by following all safety policies.

Your Profile

· Must have Cert III Automotive Refinishing Technology or Cert III in Aircraft Surface Finishing or Cert III in Automotive Vehicle Body.

( The qualification will be sighted at the time of interview.)

· Prior experience in rail or industrial painting.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Ability to follow instructions and procedures.

· Onboarding Process - Willingness to complete a Drug & Alcohol Test and National Police Check following a successful interview.

• Location: Dandenong
• Duration: 6 months contract role with potential extension.
• Shift: Day 6 AM – 2:30 PM I Afternoon 2 PM – 10:30 PM
• Pay rate: $62.40/hr + Super + Penalties
