Senior Accountant – Sunshine Coast

Looking to step up into a role where you can manage your own clients, build strong relationships, and take ownership of your work? This established boutique accounting firm on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing team.

You’ll be trusted to run your own portfolio, combining compliance responsibilities with hands-on business advisory. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys direct client interaction, has solid technical skills, and thrives in a supportive and flexible environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and review of financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals
• Division 7A, CGT & FBT calculations.
• Manage a portfolio of clients, providing high-level tax and business advice
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and standards

About You:

• 5+ Years Accounting experience
• CA/CPA qualified (or working towards)
• Strong background in compliance and tax for SMEs
• Confident communicator who enjoys client interaction
• Solid technical skills and ability to work independently
• Self-motivated, with the ability to manage deadlines in a remote/hybrid environment
• Experience with Xero, MYOB, and cloud-based tools preferred
