About this Role:

Commencing Term 1 2026

Health and Physical Education Years 5 – 10

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive Health and Physical Education lessons that foster student growth and wellbeing

Use a range of teaching strategies and assessment tools to support diverse learning needs and maximise student outcomes

Contribute to curriculum planning and innovation within the HPE team

Maintain accurate records of student progress

Actively promote student participation in sport, health, and wellbeing programs

Uphold MGGS’s commitment to child safety in all aspects of teaching and school life

About You:

Hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration or can gain VIT registration. Early career teachers are encouraged to apply.

Expertise in Health and Physical Education curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment practices

Skilled at building meaningful, respectful relationships with students and colleagues

Passionate about student wellbeing and inspiring healthy, active lifestyles

Proficient in using digital tools (including LMS and multimedia programs) to enhance teaching and learning
