About the Role:

Our client is seeking experienced Plant Controllers to join their team for a casual position for an immediate start. This position role will have 12.5-hour shifts, supporting a 24/7 Operation via a remote operations centre based out of Brisbane CBD. The successful candidates will be required to work a rotating roster including Day, Night, Weekend and Public holiday work, following a potential roster pattern of 5/5/4 - 5 days on, 5 days off, 4 nights on, 5 days off, 2 days/3nights, 4 days off.

What you will be doing

You will be tasked with controlling and monitoring fixed plant equipment in a remote mining environment from a central control room. This includes using specialised software and control systems, maintaining communication with on-site personnel, responding to system problems and operational issues while meeting production targets.

Your duties will also include:

Strong commitment to safety

Operation of HMI - SCADA systems to optimise safety and production.

Effective and accurate downtime recording using downtime recording program.

Engage with key stakeholders to enhance daily, weekly and monthly targets and strategies

Effective administration and information collating

Comply with business fatigue management polices

What You Will Need

Prior Control Room experience in Fixed Plant Mine Operations environment (Preferred), or similar exposure in other fixed plant settings.

Strong Communication skills

Understanding of service delivery and value chain impacts

Ability to multitask and identify risks

Efficient activation of emergency response and coordination or other high pressure critical tasks.

Continuous improvement and collaborative mindset

Hold a current drivers licence and have reliable transport

Live within 45mins of Brisbane City
