About the role

We are seeking a multiple experienced Baker to join our team at Paradise Bakehouse in Innes Park, QLD. This is a full-time role, where you will be responsible for the production of high-quality baked goods to delight our customers.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to recipes and production schedules

Ensure all baked goods meet quality and presentation standards

Operate various baking equipment and appliances

Use various baking techniques including kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing and shaping dough

Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following all health and safety protocols

Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed

Collaborate with the team to identify process improvements and new product idea.

The minimum work experience for this position are:

Formal qualifications in baking or a related field

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Baker in a commercial bakery or similar environment

The requirements for this position are:

Strong understanding of baking techniques, recipes, and food safety regulations

Ability to work efficiently and maintain high standards of quality and presentation

Excellent time management and problem-solving skills

Commitment to working as part of a team and contributing to a positive work culture

Comply with food safety regulations in Queensland
