About the Company

Our client based in Thornleigh have the requirement for either a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Plant mechanic to join their small and amazing team. This is a contract position, working full time hours, Monday to Friday in an on-going capacity with a view to permanent for the right person.

About the Role

Perform repairs, maintenance and inspections on, brake and clutch adjustments and general fleet maintenance of Council vehicles.

Accurately identify, record and repair faults.

Compile all paper work and documents accurately.

Forward paper work and documents promptly to appropriate recipients

May be required to Order and follow-up of parts.

Experience in the repair and maintenance of Heavy vehicle

Well developed trade skills.

Skills and Experience

Must hold a Current MR or HR Truck Licence

Must be Trade qualified

Must have Clear and concise communication

Be available to perform overtime if required

Have sound experience of Heavy Vehicles Mechanics

Well developed trade skills.

Have the ability to assess faults & record appropriate severity level
