About the role:
As a Mental Health Access Worker, you will provide welcoming and professional access to mental health supports and play an integral role in the day-to-day operations of the Medicare Mental Health Centre (MMHC). Your people skills will help the MMHC team create a Centre that supports individuals from all backgrounds to receive comprehensive mental health services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Centre Manager/Clinical Lead in implementing the MMHC service delivery model, including assessment pathways and transition of care arrangements;
- Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide integrated, evidence-based mental health services; and
- Helping maintain effective operations and compliance for the MMHC.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will ideally hold a tertiary qualification in an Allied Mental Health discipline and/or have relevant experience working in Mental Health service delivery. You will have experience in rural and remote communities, excellent communication skills and experience working with people from diverse backgrounds. You will also require a current driver's licence.
