About the role

Join the dynamic team at Galipo Food Co. as a Storeperson. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of the company's cold storage facilities in Dry Creek, South Australia. This role is for our early morning shift (4am start). As an integral member of the warehousing and distribution team, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and the preservation of product quality.

What you'll be doing

Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move and store products in the cold storage facility

Inspect incoming and outgoing goods to ensure they meet quality standards

Assist with the unloading and loading of delivery trucks

Stacking products in cold stores with appropriate pallet spacing and labelling

Adhere to all health, safety and environmental regulations within the workplace

Organising stock for despatch times

Accurately packing stock

Product Picking in a chiller environment

Repetitive Manual Handling

What we're looking for

Relevant qualification at the level of at least a relevant AQF Certificate II qualification or equivalent; or 1 year of relevant work experience to substitute the qualification

Forklift licence and demonstrated experience in the safe operation of material handling equipment

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently

Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment

Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions
