About The Opportunity
As an Entry Level Accountant, you will report directly to the Director and play a key role in the firm’s operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing BAS, IAS, Financial Statements, Income Tax Returns, CGT & FBT calculations
- Attending client meetings, providing advice, and managing ongoing communication
- Liaising with the ATO and managing new business entity setups and registrations
- Maintaining accurate client files, ensuring lodgement deadlines are met
- Providing budgeting, cash flow planning, and general business advisory support
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting
- At least 1 year of experience in public practice
- Demonstrated skills in tax and financial statement preparation
- Understanding of taxation legislation and proficiency in Xero software
- Excellent communication, time management, and attention to detail
- A collaborative, professional, and proactive approach to client service
