About the role

Permanent full time opportunity to provide expert clinical knowledge and clinical care for consumers/patients with a variety of conditions and support the general function of unit through role modelling and application of the principles of contemporary evidence-based consumer/patient focused care, education, leadership and portfolio management.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Apply advanced clinical nursing expertise, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, to deliver a high standard of consumer/patient centred care.
• Provide teaching to both consumers/patients and their families to facilitate learning and enable them to move towards independence.
• Demonstrate advanced clinical skills and problem-solving relevant to the care of consumer/patient within Halwyn.
• Practise collaboratively with the interprofessional health care team to promote the safety, security and personal integrity of individuals and groups.
