Role: Production Assembler

Location: Brendale
Type: Temp-to-Perm (after 4.5 months)
Award: Level 2 Manufacturing Award
Pay: $33+ per hour
Hours: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Our client needs a new team member to join their extension ladder line. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to work with both fibreglass and aluminium, manufacturing ladders that ensure safety in industries worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble extension ladders using fibreglass and aluminium materials.
• Perform drilling and riveting tasks as part of the production process.
• Follow simple work drawings to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure all products meet safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with the production team to maintain workflow and meet deadlines.

What We're Looking For

• Knowledge of hand tools (drills, riveters, etc.).
• Ability to follow simple work drawings.
• Punctual and reliable with a good work ethic.
• Physically fit, as some lifting is involved.
• Strong interest in a long-term career. (Training for this role is time-consuming and costly, so we need someone committed to staying long-term.)

• Previous experience in a production or assembly role (preferred but not essential).
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety standards.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
