Connect People are seeking an experienced Chef for an immediate start at our client's Defense Base Services site in Hobart.

7-9 hour shifts that will vary across Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve meals for Defence personnel and staff, including daily services and functions.
• Assist with menu planning, food preparation, and stock management.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety across the kitchen.
• Support Mess operations and complete light admin tasks such as HACCP records and toolbox meetings.
• Provide guidance to kitchen staff when required and ensure PPE and safety standards are met.

Key criteria:

• Australian Citizen
• Australian Driver's licence
• Cert 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery

Prior to commencement all successful candidates will be required to obtain a National Police Check.
