A Team Painting Professionals is a well-established, ever expanding, family-owned business who is dedicated to provide exceptional customer service in every job we undertake. We are looking for a highly experienced motivated painter who will work well within our current team.

Position Description:

· Prepare walls for painting.

· Apply paint to roof, walls and ceilings.

· Apply protective coatings.

· Apply varnish and clear coats.

· Undertake masked off and cut it procedures.

· Sanding, scrapping, and sealing off surfaces.

· Ceiling off walls to ensure proper adherence.

· Covering surfaces with plastic sheets to ensure protection from painting splattering.

· Mixing, matching, and applying paint, varnish, enamel, and other finishes Fixing

cracks holes and joints with gap tube, pretty, plaster or other fillers using a gapping

gun or putty knives.

· Removing fixtures such as pictures, doorknobs, and electric switch covers prior to

painting.

· Calculating amounts of required material.

· Wearing appropriate PPE and following OSHC.

· Erecting and dismantling restricted height scaffolding.

To be considered for this role, you should:

· Hold an AQF Certificate III in Painting & Decorating.

· Have at least 3 year work experience.

· Possess a positive attitude and work well with other team members;

· Be willing to follow directions and ask questions for clarification if needed.

· Good interpersonal and communication skills;

· Able to work in a fast paced environment; multitask and handle stress;

· Able to commit beyond normal working hours as when required.

Annual Salary: AUD 75,000 - 80,000
