Roofing & Sheetmetal Centre has supplied sheet metal roofing and cladding products to hundreds of commercial and residential projects across Melbourne. An ISO Quality Assurance & AS-4801 WHS (Safety) certified business, we consistently deliver high quality, low risk roofing solutions to our client base.

We are based in the south east corridor of Melbourne about 30kms from the CBD with good access to freeways and public transport.

We are currently seeking an experienced machine operator to join the friendly and supportive team to primarily work with a slitter/folder machine.

Our preferred candidate will have experience operating slitter/folding machines (SWI and Jorns) and Guillotines.

Your Role:

Working in our modern, indoor and safety-conscious workshop you will be part of a well-skilled team performing the following tasks:

Using a slitter/folding machine

Assist in the manufacturing of flashings and rainwater goods

Stacking and racking of completed goods

Requirements:

Previous experience using a slitter/folder machine

A forklift license would be an advantage

Can-do, proactive attitude

Willingness to learn new tasks
