Job Play is expanding, and we are looking for riggers. We are seeking experienced riggers interested in night shift. Based around the Mascot area in New South Wales, and available immediately.

As a night shift rigger, you will be responsible for safely assembling, securing, and dismantling rigging equipment to facilitate lifting and moving of heavy materials and machinery. You will collaborate closely with gantry crane operators, engineers, and site supervisors to ensure all lifting tasks are performed according to safety standards and project requirements.

The ideal candidates will hold relevant rigging qualifications, have prior experience working in construction or heavy plant environments, and possess strong knowledge of rigging techniques and safety protocols. Reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to workplace safety are essential. Must have basic rigging, white card and drivers licence as a minimum.

Responsibilities include:

• Setting up and operating rigging equipment safely and efficiently
• Inspecting rigging gear prior to use and reporting any defects
• Working closely with the construction team to plan lifts and movements
• Maintaining compliance with all safety regulations and procedures
• Adapting to changing site conditions during night hours
• Hours 8pm-4am
• Pay rates vary between $53-68 + travel allowance
