An excellent opportunity (full time or part time - we are flexible) has become available for a Tax/Business Accountant to join the JSM team, located in our office at Springfield Central, close to train station, great parking and lots of amenities. This position can be offered with some work from home for the right candidate.

Qualifications & experience

Degree qualified

Extensive and Hands on experience (3- 5 Year Experience) in Business Services/Taxation Minimum

Xero Suite experience highly desirable

Work ranging with a multitude of client structures and industries

An ability to adapt to change and learning new processes

Must have excellent English written and oral communication skills

Tasks & responsibilities

Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for all entity types

SMSF experience highly desirable

Division 7a Application and experience

Tax planning for all entity types

Advisory work

Fringe benefits tax preparation

Provision of taxation advice

Hands on with reconciliations

Cash Flow Forecasting

Budget Preparations

High level bookkeeping work and client assistance

Training and assisting Junior Staff

QBCC Reporting

End of month processes

End of year processes
