Our client, a Leader in the Cold Storage and Distribution industry currently have a vacant position available for a All round Store / Freezer Forklift Operator to join their team located in YENNORA.

Transport & Logistics sector, therefore previous experience within a fast paced working environment is essential.

Although you will be operating a Forklift this will also be a hands on role assisting with the day to day operations which will include picking / packing , loading and unloading trucks and assisting within the warehouse.

Shifts will initially run Monday to Friday 9AM to 5 PM flexibility is required as there may be overtime and weekend work when needed and where volume changes the start times may vary.

Pay Rate will be $39.63 per hour plus applicable penalty rates (includes Cold Allowance

The role involves; but will not be limited to:

• Operation of Forklifts- High Reach
• Operation of Counter Balance Forklifts and Electric Pallet Jacks
• Stock rotation, putaways and replenishment
• Picking and packing orders
• Usage of pallet wrapping machines
• Loading and Unloading Trucks
• General warehousing duties
• Ad hoc duties as required

To be considered for this role, you MUST :

• Hold a current LF Forklift Licence
• Previous experience on Toyota forklifts Advantageous !!!
• Have minimum 2 years experience within a similar industry or role
• Previous experience with High Reach Forklifts and putaways a MUST
• Moderate communication skills both written and verbally
• Be Physically fit as some roles will involve heavy lifting
• Have your OWN reliable transport
• Be flexible with work hours shift times may vary
• Be reliable and punctual
• RF Scanning (preferred but not essential)
