Our client, a leader in the warehousing and distribution sector, are currently seeking a reliable All-round Storeman / Forklift Operator to join a successful and growing team in the PRESTONS Region.

Positions will be casual with an opportunity to go permanent for the right candidates.

Position Brief Below
Shift Times:

• Monday to Friday: Start time between 12:00pm – 6:00pm
• Saturday: Start time between 7:00am – 9:00am

Shift Length:

• 6 to 8 hours per shift, with flexibility to work up to 10 hours during peak periods

Roster:

• 5 shifts per week, with the opportunity to work a 6th shift
• Weekly roster provided

Pay Rate:

• $43.38 per hour + penalty rates as applicable

Work Environment:

• Ambient and chiller/cold store environment

About the Company:

The duties will involve but be limited to:

• Operation of Both High Reach and Counter Balance Forklifts
• Operation of RF Units
• Loading and unloading of trucks / incoming goods
• Labelling products for dispatch
• Wrapping pallets and orders
• Stock Replenishment & Put away

To be considered for this role, you MUST:

• Minimum 2-3 years operating Counter balance and High Reach Forklifts
• RF unit Operation Experience A MUST !!!
• Previous experience working in cold temperature condition highly desirable
• Good attitude and willingness to learn
• RELIABLE AND PUNCTUAL
• Great with numeracy and counting
• Must be team player
• Good communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work
• Physically fit as there will be manual handling involved
• Have your OWN reliable transport
• Be flexible with work hours
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• Must have full work rights in Australia
