About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Excavator or Multi-Skilled Operator to join our team at A Team Civil in Browns Plains, QLD. This full-time position is a unique opportunity to contribute to the delivery of commercial projects in the local area. As a Civil Multi-Skilled Operator, you will play a crucial role in operating a variety of heavy machinery and plant equipment to support our civil earthmoving operations.

What you'll be doing

Safely and efficiently operate a range of earthmoving equipment.

Perform general maintenance and pre-start checks on all plant and equipment

Contribute to the execution of civil works such as bulk earthworks, filling & compaction, detailed trimming, stormwater & drainage installation.

Identify and report any equipment issues or maintenance requirements

Adhere to all relevant health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

Collaborate effectively with the wider construction team to deliver project outcomes

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience as a civil construction operator

Demonstrated competence in operating a variety of heavy machinery and plant equipment

Strong understanding of civil construction practices and site safety requirements

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work

Effective communication and teamwork skills

Experience working with and using GPS

A current HR or HC driver's licence and a Construction Induction (White) Card is advantageous but not required.
