About the role

Permanent opportunity to provide appropriate and timely high-level legal advice, and support, in a Queensland public hospital setting.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Provide pragmatic, independent, frank and fearless legal advice on potential and actual legal risks in employment law and employee relations matters, including case management, and recommend appropriate action.
• Advise and provide advocacy as required on employee related proceedings in court and tribunals.
• Provide high-level advice on matters arising under the Hospital and Health Boards Act 2011 (Qld)
• Provide high-level legal advice and draft witness statements for litigation.
