Environmental Management Unit (EMU) is a specialised bush regeneration company dedicated to restoring and enhancing Australia's natural environment. We work across a range of projects including ecological restoration, weed control, revegetation, and habitat rehabilitation for local councils, government bodies, landholders, and conservation organisations.

We're currently seeking experienced Bush Regenerators through to Team Leaders with a minimum of 18 months' field experience. These are casual roles with potential to transition to full-time employment for the right candidates.

What We're Looking For:

Minimum 18 months' experience in bush regeneration, conservation land management, or related fields

A strong work ethic and enthusiasm for working outdoors

Ability to identify and manage native and invasive flora (or willingness to learn)

Basic flora identification skills required at time of application

Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills

Commitment to safety, environmental standards, and ongoing development

Requirements:

White Card (Construction Induction Safety Certificate)

Manual Driver's Licence

ACDC Licence

Qualifications in Conservation & Ecosystem Management, Horticulture, or similar fields

Australian work authorisation required

ACDC Licence for herbicide handling required

Highly Regarded:

First Aid & CPR certification

Chainsaw operation certification

Available Roles:

Casual positions across multiple levels – from field crew to experienced supervisors

Worksites in the Ipswich, Brisbane (north and south), Logan, Lockyer Valley, Scenic Rim and Redlands regions. Travel is to be expected

Potential transition to permanent roles for high-performing senior staff
