Broome Regional Aboriginal Medical Service (BRAMS) has been providing holistic, culturally safe healthcare and community services since 1978. With more than 40 years of continuous service, BRAMS remains committed to empowering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
About the Role
We’re seeking a Family and Domestic Violence Case Worker to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and children impacted by family and domestic violence.
In this role, you will:
Provide trauma-informed case management and safety planning
Support clients through crisis and short-term recovery pathways
Coordinate wraparound services, referrals, and advocacy
Work collaboratively as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team
About You
We welcome applicants with community services or case management experience. Formal qualifications are not required.
You will bring:
Experience supporting vulnerable clients
Strong communication, empathy, and conflict resolution skills
Ability to manage risk assessments and safety planning
Commitment to cultural safety and trauma-informed care
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and those with lived experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
You will need (or be willing to obtain):
National Police Clearance
Working With Children Check
Up-to-date Influenza vaccination

$80,000 – $90,000 + Super (based on experience)
