About the role

Join our supportive team as a Home Care Employee at Yass Valley Aged Care Ltd in Yass NSW. This is a casual position, as a Home Care Employee, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality in-home care and support to our elderly clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

What you'll be doing

Provide personal care assistance, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing

Assist with domestic duties including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation

Accompany clients to appointments and assist with running errands

Engage consumers in social activities and provide companionship

Collaborate with the care team to implement individualised care plans

Maintain detailed client records and documentation

Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and quality standards

What we're looking for

Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualification

Experience providing in-home care or support to the elderly

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for caring for the elderly

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Current Australian driver's licence

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
