Due to growth and several new ongoing maintenance contracts our Sydney HVAC Protection Maintenance client is seeking a new Senior Chiller Technician working across Central Sydney who is passionate about contributing to the success of their business. You’ll have an allocated run across a variety of sites High Rise Commercial sites which could include, Commercial Highrise, Offices, Retail, Data Centres, industrial Buildings etc, providing Service, Maintenance and Breakdowns. Job Summary

We are seeking a Trade-qualified HVAC / Chiller Lead technician with a minimum 5 plus years out of Apprenticeship in chilled water systems. No sponsorship support available must be a local candidate.

Attending to system breakdown calls and carry out scheduled preventive maintenance.

Provide commissioning for Chillers/HVAC equipment on customer sites.

Conduct system troubleshooting. Carry out overhaul and fault finding of services varying reciprocating, screw, centrifugal etc.

Document relevant results of equipment and submitted accordingly to customers.

Working in a motivated team environment with a great support structure.

Must be confident working on 3-phase and low-voltage electrical control systems.
Skilled in diagnostics, pressure/vacuum testing, brazing, and commissioning.

Some basic quoting required for one site servicing and breakdowns.

Working in a close knit team of highly skilled Chiller Techs Snr Techs.

Must-Have Qualifications
*Full Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Licence
*ARCTICK Licence
*White Card (Construction Induction)
*Current Driver’s Licence

Hourly rate up to $65 depending on experience,, plus dual cab Ute, RDO per month, plenty of OT if you want it or not if you don't.

Must pass a D & A medical

Understanding and working of Australian Standards ( AS1670 and AS1851).

The ability to work un-supervised and self-manage stock and equipment necessary to carry out his or her duties.

Have good presentation and work ethic. Must have strong written and verbal english skills.

Must have local customer knowledge and geographical knowledge of Sydney metro area.

This is a full-time role, and rate offered will be according to experience and is negotiable.

Hourly permanent rate for experienced technicians plus superannuation, overtime at double time, uniform, travel allowance, ongoing training, iphone ipad, fully maintained company vehicle dual cab ute.
