About the Role
We’re seeking a motivated Junior Accounting / Finance Analyst to support our finance operations behind the scenes of our live music events. You’ll help us with bookkeeping, budget and cash flow control, artist payments and compliance, and all the day-to-day fiscal details that keep things running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate bookkeeping for multiple events, productions, and company operations.
Reconcile accounts (bank, credit card, vendor, artist) regularly.
Process artist/vendor Withholding Tax (WHT) certificates, ensure compliance with tax obligations.
Assist in budgeting for events: estimating revenues & costs, tracking against budget.
Monitor cash flow: forecast, track inflows/outflows, flag potential issues.
Support month-end closing, financial reporting, variance analysis by event/project.
Maintain compliance with financial controls, tax, and regulatory requirements.
Skills & Experience Wanted
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar; or working toward one.
Accounting software experience, Xero preferred
Minimum 6-12 months of bookkeeping or accounting experience (including internships or placements) — ideally with live events, entertainment, or fast-moving operations.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail.
Good Excel skills (formulas, functions, ability to pull together data).
Understanding or willingness to learn about WHT, artist/vendor tax certificates.
Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadline pressure.
Passion or interest in music/events would be a plus.
