Role description

We currently have a full time or casual role located in Newcastle, NSW for a Pest Control Technician at Elite Building & Pest Services. As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting residential, commercial, schools and strata properties, identifying pest problems, and planning and implementing effective pest control measures. You will also communicate with clients, providing advice, and educating them on proper pest control measures to prevent future infestations.

Position requirements

• Prior experience as a Pest Control Technician - Current Pest Control license inc timber pest (Traineeships available for the right candidate)

• Experience using chemical and non-chemical treatments for pest control

• Knowledge of different pests and their behaviours, as well as pest control regulations and safety protocols

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and communicate effectively with clients and other team members

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records of services provided

• Physical fitness and good general health (ability to work in both crawl spaces and roofs as required)

• Proactive & motivated approach to work

• Professional personal presentation

• Police & Working with Children checks
