Re-advertised role - seeking additional applications due to the number of positions needing to be filled.

We currently have an opportunity available for a number of capable and experienced road work labourers for work on a concreting project based at Mittagong.

Applicants ideally should have prior experience in concreting work and be located within a reasonable travel distance to Mittagong (30-45 minute radius at most).

This role will involve working full time hours of work for a period of approximately 4-5 weeks, commencing either 8th or 14th October through until early November.

An attractive hourly pay rate is being offered, including overtime penalty rates for additional hours of work. This crew will be working 6.30am to 4pm on a Monday to Friday basis.

Whilst this work project will only be a short duration, there is the potential that this could lead to further work opportunities for successful applicants.

Successful Applicants will need;

current WHS White Card

unrestricted Australian driver licence (no interlock etc) - MR or above would be preferred but not essential

traffic control tickets - preferred but not essential

Worker On Foot card - or willingness to obtain (online link able to be provided for successful applicant to be completed as part of on-boarding process)

good all round fitness for manual work tasks

previous experience with various aspects of concreting work would be highly advantageous

Applicants will need to be fit for physically demanding work, and be a genuine team player.

NOTE: successful applicants will be required to complete a police records check.
