$100,776.00 - $105,340.56 base salary (SCHADS Level 5, pro-rata) + super + salary packaging options – increase your take home pay by 6 to 12% through our not-for-profit charity status!

About the role

The Case Manager will work within our Southern Women’s Hive (the Hive). Based at Christies Beach, the Hive is the first service model of its kind in Australia.

The Hive model takes an approach that encompasses all aspects of a woman’s life and provides services and support for various life domains, helps reduce barriers, and thus enables women to overcome the many challenges that present after release from prison. The program is an opportunity for women to participate in their community and increase their sense of self-agency and empowerment.

The role involves working directly with women referred through our Home Detention Integrated Support Services Program (HISSP), to provide case management and practical support. This is a chance to contribute to and be at the forefront of an innovative service focused on building positive networks and supporting successful outcomes for women on statutory orders.

About you

To ensure success in this role, the right candidate will have:

Tertiary qualifications in Social Work or other human-services related discipline.

Proven case management experience, preferably within a women-specific service or organisation.

The ability to empathise and work with disadvantaged women and women interfacing with the criminal justice system.

Effective time management skills whilst working autonomously.

A National Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement.
