Eligibility to apply

• Completed qualifications - Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Minimium of 1 year of experience in long day care
• Available at least three (3) days per week to accept shifts, in most weeks
• Rapid Response - preference if you can accept shifts at 6.00 am and start work by 8.30 am on the same day
• Available for 8 hours shifts, either opening starting at 7.30 am, or closing starting at 9.30 am
• You will need great references from your previous employers
• People describe you as child-centred, dependable, confident, competent, positive and energetic
• You love working with children, and are eager to work with different groups, educators and teachers

NOTE: If you have worked at any of our kindergartens or early learning centres through an Agency in the last 12 months, we are not able to accept your application

Richmond Multicultual Children's Centre

Located at the edge of Citizens Park, nestled in the heart of the Richmond community, and just a short stroll from the tram stop, Sparkways Richmond Multicultural Children’s Centre is ideally located for families.

We are a small, close-knit Centre offering programs for children who are six weeks to school age, including long day care and integrated government-funded three- and four-year-old kindergarten that is taught by experienced, qualified Early Childhood Teachers. Our spacious, shaded outdoor area and newly designed playground provide the perfect setting for play, exploration, and discovery.

With a strong focus on creativity, exploration, and children’s rights, our programs are thoughtfully designed to support each child’s development and growing sense of identity.
