About the Team and the Role

To be successful in this role you will have experience working in a public library setting. Experience in outreach, community engagement, or public programming is preferred.

Most importantly, you’ll be great with people, and provide a positive connection point for our local community as we continue to develop and enhance our library offering.

This is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of Mosman residents and contribute to the growth of Mosman Library Service.

The role includes an RDO every three weeks, with one weekend shift and/or evening shifts per month.

About You

Mosman Council is seeking an experienced and innovative librarian to drive outreach services at our single-branch library located in Mosman’s civic and cultural precinct.

With a focus on expanding our services outside the library walls and building enduring community connections, the role contributes to:

• Programs and events
• Establishing and maintaining partnerships
• Coordinating library volunteers
• Home library services

Reporting to the Library Community Programs and Engagement Coordinator, this role would suit someone with previous library outreach experience who is confident working independently (often out in the community).
