Brooks Mechanical is looking for an experienced and safety-focused High Voltage Electrician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll take the lead on installing, maintaining, and repairing high-voltage equipment across our projects, ensuring reliability and safety in some of WA’s toughest environments. You’ll bring your trade qualifications, HV switching expertise, and mine site experience to a role where no two days are the same.

What You’ll Be Doing

Installation, Maintenance, and Repair of High-Voltage Equipment.

Performing regular testing of electrical systems to identify faults and ensure equipment is operating within specifications.

Extensive experience in reading & interpreting electrical schematics.

Implementing and managing the procedures for safely de-energising equipment, which includes procedures for locking out, tagging, and testing to confirm de-energisation.

Maintaining detailed records and documenting completed work, including safety incidents and hazards encountered, to contribute to ongoing safety management.

What You’ll Bring

Cert III in Electrotechnology

WA ‘A’ Grade Electrical License (Essential)

HV Switching ticket

Mine site experience

Current valid C-class driver’s licence (HR, LF and HC desirable)

Ability to work independently in remote and challenging conditions
