Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

The Role:
We’re seeking a compassionate and skilled School Nurse to join our dedicated team on a casual basis. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care and support to students with complex health needs within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities, but not limited to:

Deliver primary nursing care and health support to students and staff

Manage health emergencies and complex health needs including enteral feeding, respiratory support, and neurological conditions

Collaborate with families, teachers, and allied health professionals to enhance student wellbeing

Provide medication administration advice and health education to staff

Maintain accurate health records and manage medical supplies

Support school-wide health initiatives, immunisation programs, and wellbeing policies

What We’re Looking For:

Registered Nursing Qualification (essential)

Experience supporting individuals with physical disabilities and complex health conditions

Ability to work both independently and as part of a transdisciplinary team

Strong communication skills for liaising with families and school staff

Commitment to inclusion, equity, and child safety
