Your new role
As the Senior Finance Business Partner - Telecommunications, you will lead the financial operations of the Telecommunications Group. Reporting to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, you'll provide strategic financial advice, oversee budgeting and forecasting, and support executive decision-making across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure and technology projects. This role has two direct reports; Project Accountant & Finance Analyst.

Your duties will include

• Leading financial management, compliance, and reporting
  
• Overseeing capital program budgeting, forecasting, and commercial oversight.
  
• Providing financial modelling and analysis for investment proposals and business cases.
  
• Supporting strategic workforce planning and organisational change.
  
• Participating in tender evaluations and contract reviews.
  
• Conducting financial risk assessments and ensuring compliance.
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• CA or CPA qualification (or currently studying).
  
• Experience in telecommunications or high-tech environments.
  
• Strong financial modelling and reporting skills.
  
• Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably TechnologyOne) and Power BI.
  
• Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  
• Ability to manage change, drive process improvements, and lead a team
