Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Forklift Driver to join our team.

Key responsibilities will include:

Lifting and transporting metal sheets from the production line.

General Labouring as required.

Ensuring machines have the adequate materials available for the shift and any defect stock is reported.

Loading and unloading of materials.

All materials will need to be clearly labelled with the appropriate job number.

Forklift pre-start checklist daily

Splitting packs

Identifying damaged stocks

Ensure health and safety standards are met.

Accurately match delivery dockets to PO.

Maintaining CC2 processes.

The successful candidate will:

Demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of safety in the workplace.

Be open and willing to do manual labouring around the factory as required.

Excellent attention to detail with strong interpersonal & communication skills.

Steel manufacturing & warehouse background experience highly regarded.

Be physically fit for the role.

Qualifications

Valid Forklift License (LF).

Demonstrate a positive attitude towards their job.

Knowledge on steel fabrication duties.

Ensuring workplace health and safety standards are met.

Experience

Proven experience in loading and unloading of long materials (8 meters plus).

Proven experience in loading and unloading of steel products and LGS.

Able to manage store management duties.
