About the role

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this Forklift Driver is to participate in our warehouse operations and activities. Responsibilities include operating the forklift to fulfil operational requirements.

This role is based in Rocklea QLD.

Position Start Time 4AM

Main tasks/responsibilities

The list below is not exhaustive, and the duties/responsibilities may vary to meet the overall objectives of the company.

Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation

Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers

Operate and maintain the warehouse and equipment

Drive forklift to fulfil operational requirements.

Monitoring site conditions and monitoring forklift performance.

Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security

Ensure quality assurance guidelines are followed (HACCP, SQF etc.)

Fulfil other duties as required by management and other department personnel as requested/required.

Essential Criteria

Forklift License

Physically capable of safely performing regular manual handling tasks (e.g. lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling items), in line with workplace health and safety (WHS) practices.

Proven working experience as a forklift driver

Industry experience in food service/hospitality is highly regarded
