THE JOB

We are looking for an energetic fast working packer/picker to pack our materials. There are many colours and finishes so attention to detail is a must for this role. You will be working closely with the Machine Operators to ensure there are minimal stoppages and monitor the quality of finished products. You will also be performing other duties depending on production requirements. The role will include repetitive lifting, therefore the right candidate must be physically fit and energetic.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a self-motivated and organised person to join our print finishing team working 37.5 hours per week with overtime opportunities available. You will need to have experience within the print finishing and packaging industry. This is a fast-paced production environment, so you must be an adaptable and focused person to keep up with the workload. There is also a large amount of lifting required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Packing, wrapping & labelling finished products into boxes.

Packing products from conveyor belts according to quality standards.

Remove damaged or poor-quality products from the line.

Palletising and shrink wrapping.

Quality Checking.

General factory cleaning duties.

The preparation, set up and pack down of the factory each day.

Ability to follow instructions in a production/process environment.

High attention to detail.

Follow all OH&S procedures and policies.

YOU SHOULD HAVE

The legal right to work in Australia.

A high level of physical fitness and the ability to perform repetitive lifting.

Excellent attitude, a good work ethic and reliability.

The role is labour-intensive and is a hands-on job (must be able to lift up to 20kg).

Previous experience within the print finishing industry.

Forklift licence.
