About the role

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth warehouse and logistics operations for Independence Australia, handling picking and packing with efficiency and care to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction every time.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Efficiently pick and pack orders to meet national KPIs, ensuring accuracy, organization, and a safety-conscious approach to customer satisfaction.
• Accurately receive and process goods against purchase orders, updating the ERP system in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the team while working independently to complete tasks, ensuring smooth operations across all warehouse areas.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts, adhering to safety guidelines.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, identifying best practices and assisting with quality audits.

About you

You are someone who possesses a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and have the ability to efficiently pick, pack, and process orders in a fast-paced environment. You will also be required to have the following:

• Available for the morning shift from 6.00am to 2.00pm or afternoon shift from 2.00pm - 10.00pm (Mon to Fri).
• Able to provide 100 points of ID and two work references.
• Trained in Reach Forklift operation and experienced with both High Reach and standard forklifts, holding a valid forklift licence.
• Able to meet requirements for police clearance and medical fitness.
• Over 2 years of experience as a warehouse pick packer, with solid knowledge of inventory and order processing systems.
