About the role
The Mater Hospital Brisbane has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Senior Administration Officer to work as a Business Support Officer within the Business Support Administration team.
These positions will be offered on a permanent full-time basis, and the successful candidates will need to be available to work Monday to Friday.
Salary range: $39.79 - $44.25 per hour plus 12% superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
- Diary management and management of rosters, leave requests, and HR forms
- Business meeting set up including room bookings and minute taking
- Use of various hospital databases and programs
- Formulating and editing spreadsheets, as well as running reports and correlating/ interpreting data in Excel
- Use of various hospital databases and programs
- Undertake departmental audits
- Provide support to the teams within the department and assisting Clinical Directors and Managers across campus with miscellaneous tasks as required
- Assist with generating reports for various levels of huddles
About you
- Highly experienced in providing medical administration support
- Strong computer skills including competence in using Patient Administration systems (or the ability to quickly learn new systems) and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of HR protocols
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- High level of data entry accuracy
- Prior experience as a Business Support Officer would be highly regarded
