About The Opportunity

Our business services mid-market client base is growing and requires specialised and focused support. This role will see you take full ownership of various client accounts whilst continuing to partner closely with your colleagues on other business projects and priorities. We offer a breadth of opportunities across a varient of clients.

Specifically, this role will see you:

Take ownership and responsibiity of a portfolio of clients, including HNW family groups, hedge funds and a range of SMEs;

Preparing client tax compliance and dealing with client tax issues;

CFO advisory, from budgeting and forecasting, through to profit analysis and due diligence; and

Assisting in the mentoring and training junior staff

How do I succeed in this role?

Beyond all else, you will be a true team player, with the intellectual curiosity and drive to learn and be consultative in style with clients.

Ideally possess the following skills, education and experience:

You will be a qualified Accountant, Australian CA/ CPA / Tax Institute with at least 2 years experience post qualified experience;

Strong attention to detail and problem solving abilities are critical;

Experience / exposure to the Australian taxation system and ability to use (or least very quickly learn) software such as Xero is important;

Minimum 1-2 years of experience with the Australian taxation system is required.

Tech savvy, having gained exposure to a wide variety of different operating systems (we work completely in the cloud) - no legacy paper files; and

You may have started in mid-tier or Big 4 Chartered Accounting firm and are looking for an opportunity to grow your career.

Currently a team of eight with a client base made up of professional services, financial services, technology firms.
