About the role

Motel 707 is seeking an experienced and passionate Motel Manager to join our team at our property located in Emerald, Queensland. As Motel Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our 43 room motel, ensuring a high standard of customer service and guest satisfaction. This is a full-time position based on-site in Emerald for an immediate start.

What you'll be doing

Manage all aspects of motel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance and customer service

Responsible for overseeing onsite kitchen and collaborating with the onsite Chef

Familiarity with online travel agencies (Booking.com, Expedia) and booking management systems

Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the motel

Manage and schedule staff, providing training and support as needed

Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a professional and customer-focused manner

Implement and monitor policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance

What we're looking for

Extensive experience (3+ years) in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a motel or hotel setting

RMLV & Food Safety Supervisor current Certificates

Proficient in using GuestPoint software

Familiarity with online travel agencies (Booking.com, Expedia) and booking management systems

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail

Applicant MUST be a current resident living in Queensland, Australia.

Current Australian driver's licence required for operational needs
