We are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our team located at Pinkenba. This opportunity will see you working alongside and gaining valuable experience from a highly experienced team of professionals.

Your Responsibilities

Perform sampling/testing of cement and cement related products to recognised and approved methods

Ensure equipment is maintained in working order and condition

Check calculations on worksheets

Compile and dispatch records

Maintain accurate data of records for samples and test results

Ensure compliance with project guidelines sampling products and testing/calibrations

Develop opportunities for improvement and non-conformance reporting requirements

What You'll Bring

Proficiency in Microsoft Suite

Strong communication skills communicating with management, customers and team members

Strong commitment to safety and quality

Experience and knowledge in construction materials testing and sampling

Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment

Ability to prioritise work and work under pressure

Cert III or IV in Laboratory Techniques (desirable)
