We are looking for an energetic, passionate and hands on Assistant Marketing Manager to join the team to continue to enhance customer engagement through our client’s experiences program. The successful candidate will hold the customer at the centre of everything they do and have a proactive attitude.

This full-time role will be based within one of Lateral’s client’s global corporate offices within the Sydney CBD. You will work in partnership with a range of our client’s internal teams to help deliver outstanding events and experiences that further supports the enriched benefits promised to their super premium customers.

The successful candidate should demonstrate strong marketing and communication skills, high attention to detail and effective relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

Day to day management of event agency partnership to cultivate relationship and ensure adherence of SLAs and effective delivery of the premium experiential program;

Project management and delivery of premium experiential marketing campaigns from concept development to deployment including marketing approvals, data management, print management, email development, email deployment, website development, sharing knowledge with operations teams, inventory management, tracking and reporting;

Build and leverage relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to design and deliver a robust calendar of enriching experiential activities for premium product holders;

Proactively seek and identify new experiential opportunities that will enhance the value and benefit offered to premium members;

Develop customer insights and an understanding of the competitive landscape and trends to ensure new experiences resonate with customers;

Enhance the merchant value proposition through the support of participating merchants, strengthening partnerships and collaboration to drive enriching customer engagement initiatives;

Budget management – forecasting, monitoring, and reporting;

Contributing to the compliant operation of the product portfolios, identifying and addressing operational and compliance risk, including the security and protection of consumer data;

Analysis and reporting on the premium experiential program to assess performance and effectiveness of activities and partnerships.

Requirements / Competencies:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Marketing and/or Event Management;

High attention to detail & focus on quality;

Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills;

Strong project management skills;

Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously;

Ability to follow company processes and formal requirements to deliver program objectives;

The ability and confidence to learn and master new software platforms;

Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills – strong verbal and written ability resulting in effective relationship management;

Team player with the ability to work autonomously and own projects end to end;

Flexible, adaptable and the ability to work under pressure

Collaborative mindset, sense of humour and passion to deliver best-in-class benefits and experiences in a fast-paced work environment;

Self-motivated – positive and resilient attitude;

High level of proficiency with CRMs and Microsoft Office applications.

Starting salary will be dependent on the skills and experience of the successful candidate relative to position requirements.
